Access Bars Therapy

How to start this?? MMMM!!!!!  I underwent my Reiki one training last year and discovered that I had really serious blockage in my throat chakra.  Now I thought that I had healed it but it turns out when I went for a recent Reiki Healing session that, my Reiki Practitioner felt that my neck area was cold.  Receiving the treatment all I could visualise was black sludge.  So, we decided that I should go for an access bar treatment.

Unlike me I didn’t do any research into what it was I threw caution to the wind and went for it.  Well before I get on to my experience let me explain what it is.  So, it was developed in the 1990s by Gary Douglas and Dr Dain Heer.  The session usually lasts for about an hour and twenty minutes and involves your scalp being lightly touched over 32 points.  During the session your therapist will touch these 32 points one by one to release any limiting/negative beliefs, thoughts, and ideas that are stored.  Interestingly these 32 points represent different areas of your life communication, awareness, money, control and creativity.

My experience started with Rona pulling my energy.  She went to my head, then my toes and then my hands, then began the treatment. I have to say that I haven't felt anything like it. It felt as if my energy was being flushed out. I saw colours, had visions of people I had never seen before. It really was a very intense experience. Towards the end, things were beginning to get uncomfortable, I felt like I had pins and needles in my hip area. Its now a week or so after the treatment and I do feel a bit emotional, I don't know if this is down to it or if it has to do with my blocked throat chakra (this we will discuss in another blog). Do think that I have let go of emotions and thoughts that are not serving me? Honestly, I don't know but I will do another review blog in 8 weeks to discuss it.
